Musculoskeletal Ultrasound imaging (also known as ultrasound scanning or sonography) is a safe, simple and painless diagnostic procedure that uses sound waves to produce real-time, dynamic images of muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and joints throughout the body. These images help diagnose sprains, strains, tears, trapped nerves, arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Diagnostic Ultrasound
Diagnostic Ultrasound assists with diagnosing soft tissue injuries or musculoskeletal conditions, such as tendon, muscle or ligament tears, inflammation or fluid in the joints, and nerve entrapments.
Guided Injections
We use musculoskeletal ultrasound to ensure accuracy of injections into joints, tendons, muscles, or fascial planes to treat a range of injuries and conditions, such as osteoarthritis, myofascial pain and tendonitis. Aspirations can also be performed of cysts or abnormal fluid collections.

Nerve Blocks
Musculoskeletal ultrasound can capture images of nerves to provide guidance while performing nerve blocks or other nerve procedures such as cryoneurolysis or ablation to relieve pain or identify the cause of pain as part of diagnosis.
